About Me

Hailing from Canada, I completed a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, with a specialisation in International Management, at the L’Université du Québec à Montréal. Since then, I have had more than 15 years’ management and leadership experience in international companies and non-governmental organisations.

I have worked in various countries such as Rwanda, Malawi, Botswana, Mexico and The Netherlands. I held a variety of marketing, sales and management roles in the organic/fair trade cosmetics and aromatic oil sectors, before entering the solar industry.

Since 2000, I have been entirely based within the developing world and I must say that this is where I have truly found my niche. The most impactful project I accomplished is selling 100,000 solar lights in just 24 months in Malawi, which represented over 70% of the market share.

I have now taken up the position of Head of Business Development and Sales of NRS Enlight, a newly-launched company, headquartered in Dubai, that develops and manufactures solar solutions for the developing world. From entry-level lights through to mini-grids, I am very optimistic that our new solar products and solutions will give a better life to those living in humanitarian settlements, households, communities and businesses struggling to thrive with unreliable or non-existent electricity supply.

During my time overseas I have picked up quite a few languages, and in addition to my native English and French, I can communicate in Spanish and Quebec Sign Language (working proficiency), and at a basic level in Kinyarwanda, Setswana and Chichewa.
