About Me

I am originally from the Netherlands; however, I lived abroad for many years and consider myself a global citizen, embracing cultures, countries and languages. I have traveled to 47 countries and lived in the Netherlands, USA, South Africa and Italy before moving to Dubai. Everywhere I land, I apply my skills in the field of PR, Communications and Marketing to the local environment. I am a seasoned communicator and studied Mass Communications at the University of Amsterdam. I have always been passionate about top sports and spent the first eight years of my career in the Netherlands in various communications roles at two premier league football clubs: Vitesse Arnhem & AZ Alkmaar. This led to an incredible opportunity to be part of the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa, acting as International Media Liaison in the host city Cape Town.

Post 2010, I have broadened my horizon and enjoyed working as a communications consultant to a portfolio of international clients before moving to Dubai. Joining NRS International in 2014 made me realize how much I enjoy working in team settings and I am passionate about the meaningful work our family-run humanitarian business does. I am proud and privileged to lead our expert Marketing & Communications team, translating our corporate identity- and values into an impactful and refreshing cross-media communications strategy, to create powerful tools to inform- and start the dialogue with clients and stakeholders in the humanitarian field.

We serve the international humanitarian and development community, impacting and improving lives of the most vulnerable people every day. I invite you to follow our social media channels and listen to the amazing stories about how we develop fit-for-purpose products, how we innovate, empower women and implement corporate social responsibility initiatives.
